In the heart of Clovis, NM. Only 8 miles from the Texas border.

Where do I park?

We have ample parking in our newly paved lots, located outside the main and West entrances. Parking is always FREE!

How can I contact the Clovis Civic Center?

What kind of meeting and banquet space do you have available?

We have a Full Ballroom, the expansive Pioneer and Esperanza meeting rooms, as well as our beautiful patio. Click here for more information and to see our floor plans.

How do I book a room or space for an event?

For event bookings, call our Event Sales Manager at (575) 935-5009, or click here to fill out a request for proposal. Once you have decided to go with our venue for your event, our Event Sales Manager will send you a rental agreement and our policy document for your review and signature. We require a deposit and signatures on the rental agreement and our policy document in order to make your room reservation.

How much does it cost to have my event at the Clovis Civic Center?

We customize our packages to meet you goals and dreams for an amazing event with an affordable budget! Fill out our request for proposal or call our Sales Manager at (575) 935-5009 to create your event estimate.

How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?

The initial payment of $500.00 of the SECURITY DEPOSIT is hereinafter referred to as “FIRST DEPOSIT.. The payment of the remaining balance of the SECURITY DEPOSIT is hereinafter referred to as “SECOND DEPOSIT.” FIRST DEPOSIT due upon signing of rental agreement. SECOND DEPOSIT due upon receipt of Invoice or at conclusion of event. As per our Policy Document: In the event of cancellation for any reason, the Clovis Civic Center will retain the entire deposit amount. Any cancellation received more than 30 days prior to the scheduled event will result in a fee equal to 25% of the estimated food and beverage charges plus any base rental fees as outlined in the License Agreement. Any cancellation received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled event will result in a fee equal to 50% of the estimated food and beverage charges plus any base rental fees as outlined in the License Agreement. Any Cancellation received within 5 days of the scheduled event will result in a fee equal to 100% of the charges on the food and beverage work orders or License agreement, whichever amount is greater.”

Can you accomodate special dietary needs?

Yes we can accommodate special requests as needed such as Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free or Allergies. Please inform your Event Manager of any food allergies or special needs ahead of time. See our menu options.

What are your event deadlines?

Clovis Civic Center Requirement:

  • Menu Selection – 30 days out
  • Liquor or Beverage Orders -30 days out
  • Preliminary Guarantees -30 days out
  • Tax Exempt Form (if applicable) -30 days out
  • Certificate of Insurance (client providing) -30 days out
  • Audio Visual Arrangements -10 days out
  • Dietary Considerations (allergies, gluten free, vegan, etc.) -10 days out
  • Final Guarantees -10 days out
  • Final Cancellation Date -30 days out

Do you have Wifi?

Some of my exhibitors would like to provide attendees with samples of food, soda and wine. Is this allowed?

As per our Food & Beverage policy: “The Clovis Civic Center exhibitors may distribute Food & Beverage Samples in authorized space and must not be in competition with products manufactured or sold by the company exhibiting. Free samples are limited to 2 ounces of non-alcoholic beverages and 2 ounces of a food sample. Exact descriptions of sample and portion size must be submitted to The Clovis Civic Center’s Office for written approval 14 days prior to the opening of the event. The distribution of alcohol and or beverage samples requires special considerations and must have written approval of the General Manager. Free alcohol samples are limited to one ounce of wine or malt and .5 ounces of liquor or spirits. All beverages to be served as free samples must be delivered to The Clovis Civic Center via a reputable alcohol distributor that must provide a “zero” invoice for all sample product. Any exhibitors giving away and/or selling food in their booth must have a permit and all appropriate fees on file with the City of Clovis Department of Health.”

What hotels or motels are convenient to the convention center?

The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce has an excellent list of area hotels and motels in Clovis, New Mexico. Don’t forget to ask for the Civic Center rate!

Can you recommend some good restaurants in the area?
