General Manager Misty Bertrand started at the Clovis Civic Center in 2012 as Events Manger. She was promoted to Sales Manager in 2013 and became General Manager in 2014. Under her direction, the Clovis Civic Center has seen unprecedented growth and has become a major force in eastern New Mexico as an event venue. She has brought in big-name comedians, Mixed Martial Arts events, and national conferences in addition to serving the community as a favored venue for banquets, weddings, quinceaneras, and large-scale conventions and expo events.
Executive Chef Sergio Martinez is a new addition to the Civic Center team but has years of experience in the food service industry. He has a variety of unique and delectable menus on tap and looks forward to delighting our guests. Martinez works with Catering Manager Sarah Stevens to make sure your event is memorable. Our sales team creates packages for weddings, quinceaneras, meetings, holiday parties, and school banquets. Operations Manager Mike Turvey, Event Sales Manager Morgan Schugg, and Finance Manager Ronda Goyne make up the balance of the management team that provides exceptional service to guests and makes sure that clients’ needs are met to create an enjoyable and memorable experience at the Clovis Civic Center.
