For a little background, Paella is a Spanish dish that originated in Valencia, Spain which is a coastal town along the Mediterranean Sea. Paella was originally the food of the working class and was cooked over a wood fire and is traditionally made with rice, chicken and/or seafood, vegetables, saffron and various seasonings. Today, there are a variety of styles of Paella and many families and groups enjoy it all over the world at home or in restaurants.
